1. CleanLab Runs Local Only
CleanLab is built with security and privacy at its core. **All file scans, CPU, RAM calculations, and system cleaning processes happen strictly locally on your Mac.** We do NOT transmit or upload any of your files, filenames, folders, configurations, or system metrics to external servers.
2. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. CleanLab does not log your name, email, IP address, device serial number, or other identifying information.
3. System File Modification
CleanLab only deletes folders and directories (like user cache files or logs) that you explicitly check and approve for cleaning. It does not touch critical system libraries or modify your core OS settings.
4. Third-Party Integrations
CleanLab does not integrate any third-party SDKs, marketing trackers, or analytical software in its Mac App Store build. Your usage data remains 100% private to your local computer.
