Q: Is CleanLab safe for my macOS system?

Yes. CleanLab is built exclusively using native macOS security policies and App Store Sandboxing guidelines. It only modifies and cleans cache folders, logs, downloads, and trash folders that you manually select and authorize. It never accesses or modifies core operating system files.

Q: Why is CleanLab free?

CleanLab was handcrafted as an indie project to optimize system performance for myself and shared with the developer community on nuth.fyi. If you want to support development costs, you can do so through the Support page on the main site.

Q: Which macOS versions are supported?

CleanLab is built for Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4) running macOS Monterey (12.0) or newer versions. It takes full advantage of native Swift/SwiftUI rendering for fluid resource gauge updates.
